The La Vida Felicidad Early Learning Center located in Los Lunas, New Mexico is committed to creating an enriching environment that promotes a child’s excitement for learning and helps foster skills that allow them to succeed in school.
La Vida Felicidad is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1983. It is our commitment to provide high quality services for the children and families in our community. Our Early PreK program is offered Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; before or after program child care is available if needed. We have the capacity to serve 16 children through our program; students receive breakfast and lunch including morning and afternoon snack. Our center is conveniently located within a mile of the I-25 ramp. Our school offers inclusive classroom settings for all PreK children.
In our Early PreK children spend the day learning through play in a variety of learning centers such as math, art, reading, writing, science and dramatic play. We utilize the Creative Curriculum to provide a framework for developing our lesson plans and classroom instruction. Students’ progress is monitored using observational records that are aligned with the New Mexico’s Early Learning Outcomes and Essential Indicators. Family engagement is an integral part of our program and families are supported and encouraged to be active participants in their child’s education.
