Our Pre-K Program: Investing in the Future
La Petite Academy’s Pre K Program’s ultimate goal is to prepare your child to successfully enter kindergarten next year, and to become a successful lifetime learner. We currently provide care and education for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. Each of our locations is nationally accredited through NECPA.
Our Pre K programs serve 120 children that consist of 6 classrooms with 20 children each. We have locations at Fortuna, Constitution, Homestead, Bernalillo, Barbara Loop, and Anaheim. All six locations will run their program from 8:00-1:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 8:00-1:00 on Wednesdays and will include breakfast and lunch for your child. All six locations also offer wrap around care at an additional cost if needed, before and after the program.
During our class time the teachers strive to ensure that your child is ready to transition to kindergarten the following school year by making sure to use developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on fine and gross motor skills, early literacy skills, problem solving skills, cognitive development, and social/emotional development.
