Alpha School for Young Children, Inc. is an Accredited Program with the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care & Educational Programs. (NAC) Alpha School was selected to participate in the NM FOCUS Pilot Program, a Quality Initiative and has a Five Star License from the State of New Mexico. Our program supports early literacy through reading, learning letter sounds, writing, and the use of a print-rich learning environment. It supports the attainment of early mathematics, supports scientific discovery and inquiry, and provides daily creative expression in art, music, dance, and dramatic play.
Children enrolled in Alpha School’s NM PREK and NM Early PREK will participate in an extended day program or in a half -day session. Our NM PREK Extended day classes are 8:00-1:00, Monday-Friday. Children may enroll to attend both NM PREK and our daily wrap around preschool program. Our NM Early PREK is 1:30-4:30, Monday-Thursday and Alpha School offers a half-day NM PREK program 1:30-4:30, Monday-Thursday.
