Adelino Pre-K is located at 2747 Hwy 47, Los Lunas, New Mexico. We have three sessions, 2 AM session-8:00-12:00 AM and a PM session-12:00-4:00. There are 13 students in each session. We keep an on-going waiting list for interested students. We have one teacher and one teaching assistant per classroom.
We provide a nutritional meal for our students that include breakfast and lunch for our morning session and lunch and a snack for our afternoon session.
Transportation will be provided to both sessions throughout the county.
We use the Creative Curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices to provide a high quality education for children. Children learn through play and exploration using activities that are planned around areas of development-social/emotional, literacy and math. The learning environment is set up to provide physical activity throughout the day for children to develop confidence and social skills. We monitor student achievement using New Mexico’s Early Learning Outcomes Essential Indicators and Portfolio documentation forms.
