Singing Arrow Child Development Center is located at 13001 Singing Arrow SE. Our program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and our teachers are bilingual (Spanish and English). We have a partnership with Singing Arrow Community Center. We invite the community resource personnel to visit to our program so that we can learn about community services near us. We participate in community projects and do field trips in the community. Our program accommodates 3, 4 and 5 year olds in our preschool classroom and 4 year olds in our state Pre-K classroom. As part of our transition plan for children who will be going to kindergarten the following year, we communicate and collaborate with the elementary schools that the children will be attending.

Our yearly program begins in July and ends the following June. Our calendar schedule is not the same as the Albuquerque Public Schools because our child development center is part of the City of Albuquerque’s Division of Child and Family Development Services. All children that are enrolled in Pre-K attend our year-round program. We can offer parents who are working or going to school wrap-around childcare services before or after Pre-K sessions, which are paid for by families on a sliding fee scale. Wrap-around services can begin at 7:00 A.M. and end at 5:30 P.M. to accommodate parents’ working or school schedules. Our Pre-K program strives to provide quality care and education in a safe learning environment that is child-centered with a developmentally appropriate curriculum which includes early literacy, thinking, reasoning, problem solving, fine and gross motor development, language and communication skills, creative development and social-emotional competency.
