Southwest Child Care Early Learning Centers is an excellent choice for your child’s NM Pre-Kindergarten experience. We offer highly-trained, nurturing teachers, beautifully equipped classrooms, and an environment that fosters an overall love of learning through meaningful relationships and positive experiences. As part of the NM Pre-K initiative, we follow the HighScope Curriculum – a research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum that maximizes opportunities for preschool children’s learning through play and other hands-on activities. The HighScope classroom follows a consistent daily routine which incorporates a large amount of time for children to engage in natural play while adults interact with them to challenge their thinking and further their development.
Our centers boast beautiful classroom environments with many state-of-the-art children’s learning tools. Our classrooms are filled with math, science, reading, writing, art, and imaginative play materials.
Additionally, the Pre-K initiative provides health and developmental screenings at no cost. These screenings, which include vision, hearing, speech, and dental, help ensure your child is set up for a successful start to kindergarten next year.

Our center hours are as follows:
Wyoming Boulevard – Monday through Friday 6:30am-6:00pm
Lomas Boulevard – Monday through Friday 5:30am-6:30pm
Texas/Uptown – Open 24 hours 7 Days a week
All 3 locations have both a morning and afternoon session.
The AM session is from 8:30am-12:00pm and breakfast is provided
The PM Session is from 12:30pm-4:00pm and lunch is provided.
Our WYOMING BOULEVARD and LOMAS BOULEVARD locations also offer Extended sessions which begin at 8:00 a.m. and dismiss at 2:30 p.m.
Our UPTOWN LOCATION on Texas Street offers a NM Early Pre-K session for THREE-year-olds. The session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and lunch is provided.
All three locations are open for ‘wrap-around’ care if your child needs additional care before and after NM Pre-K.
