As one of the largest centers in Albuquerque, The Children’s Center is more than just a daycare! For more than forty years we have been committed to creating a safe, fun, structured learning environment. The Children’s Center has a Five STAR rating and is accredited through NECPA. The Children’s Center follows, the Early Learning Outcomes in every classroom. We are in our 4th year in the New Mexico PreK program, with 2 classrooms providing full and part time schedules from 8:30 to 12:30 and 8:30 to 3:30 with every year being successful. Our PreK teachers are highly trained and educated. Every teacher in our center is CPR certified, has their Forty-Five Hour Training Course certificate, and accumulates a minimum of twenty-eight hours of up-to-date trainings per year. Each classroom has a lead teacher with their Childhood Development Certificate, while many of our teachers are pursuing their degrees in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. The Children’s Center accepts children ranging from six weeks through nine years. Our center provides developmentally appropriate activities in each of our twelve open classrooms, four age appropriate playgrounds, and extended hours of operation from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, we also hold a strong emphasis on providing a warm and nurturing environment for the children.
