Coronado Children’s Center is a professional daycare and learning center that has been in operation since 1990. Our Primary goal has always been to provide high quality childcare service for our community. The constant pursuit of that goal has resulted in a program that exceeds the New Mexico State requirements for licensing using the Creative Curriculum and staff that meets the requirements for accreditation. Coronado Children’s Center has a low teacher turnover and we have decades of experience in preschool. We are genuinely interested in maintaining daily open channels of communication with each child’s parents in order to better understand and care for each child. We work hard to provide all of our students with a clean, safe, comfortable, loving environment where they can play and learn.
Beginning in 2014 Coronado Children’s Center became an official New Mexico PreK Site for 40 extended day students. Starting in August 2015 we are excited to announce that we will provide Early PreK, which is a free program for three year olds. We are working hard to collaborate with the State of New Mexico and nearby public schools and centers to make this program a continued success! All of our PreK staff are working towards obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Education.
We have two options for PreK class hours. They are either from 8:30 to 3:30 M-Th or from 9:00 to 4:00 M-Th. These hours are also available for Early PreK.. Extended care is also available beyond PreK in the hours from 6:30 to 6:00 Monday through Friday. We have affordable rates and also accept contracts from Children Youth and Families Department.
